when I did day care I would take a letter a week and the kids woud look at magazines, cut out that letter and pictures ,and paste them in a book they would also form the letters with dried beans amd the end of that week we would have a story and a poem with that letter at the end of the month you would be suprised at what they have learned and how a picture of a animal would bemind them of what they have learned
