I want scene hair but...?

Question

tomorrow im getting my hair cut and i wanted scene hair, but i dont want it to be really really drastic, i want something like this

but i dont have a front view of her hair, and i wanted to know if the top part of her hair is like big like this girl's hair

i dont want my hair to be really big at the top because i think that would be too much, so could anyone find a picture of someone who has really similar hair in the front view that would be really helpful :)

If you used a de-frizz product and a hair-straightener, then I guess it wouldn't be that volumised at the front. That's a pretty cool style. :-)

make them cut short layers and just too let uk they r prolly using hair extentions which give it that big a tthe top thin at the bottom look

I'd go for something sort of like Hanna Beth's hair. It's still scene-tastic, but much more toned down.

Just get a bunch of layers and then straighten it.

The only reason the girl in the second picture has big hair is because she teased it. You can't cut your hair and have it appear like that. If you just leave it, it'll still look scene-y, without the bigness. If you feel like going crazy, just hair spray it and tease the h**l out of it.
