  2. Get "Deceptively Delicious" by Jessica Seinfeld (at Amazon.com or eBay).  My daughter has it and makes brownies (with spinach) and chocolate chip cookies (with garbanzo beans) and no one can tell the difference!  My 4-yr-old grandson especially loves the brownies!!

  3. A fun thing is mini pizzetis...just take english muffins and put some ketchup or pizza sauce on them, sprinkle with herbs (if using ketchup), and throw on cheese, pepperoni, etc.  It is a fun meal!  Another fun meal is tacos, they can put on whatever they want.  You can make fun tuna salad and make it look like an ocean on the plate with celery sticks, goldfish and carrots.  Get creative with the way you present the food, kids love things that are small enough to grab easily.  I cut up cheese sticks into 1/2 inch chunks for little ones.  Chicken nuggets are fun too!  A great recipe that I make (kids love it!) is Hot dogs with the top sliced most of the way down vertically, make two slits so there are four "arms" on the top of the dog.  Put into boiling water and they will spread and curl.  Cook ramen noodles with green food coloring and flavor packet.  When the noodles are cooked, put some on a plate and put the "octopus" on top, squiggly legs down.  The top is the head.  It is fun.  They love it!

  4. Ok, now here's one I got for ya:

*Pigs in a blanket: smokies wrapped in biscuits, baked at 350*

*Mini pizzas: Bagel bites (so easy)

*Vegetable sticks (not chunks like grown ups, little ones) with ranch. Kids love dipping!

*Mini sandwiches (cut out of cookie cutters-stars, hearts, etc)

peanut butter and jelly, ham or turkey and cheese) Or if you wanna save money, buy a few of those lunchables, no cutting, no waste and its easy! Cost about 3 bucks!!

*Fruit: mix some strawberry cream cheese with some cool-whip and have grapes, strawberries, etc..

*Take and mix boxes or bags of different Teddy Grahams or cheaper version (kids wont know, lol) Cinnamon, chocolate, vanilla..throw in some mini marshmellows, pretzel sticks..

Hope this helps, if you need more let me know!

  5. hear r some web sites!

  6. mini bugers , use a jam  tart cutter to cut the bread, make your own little bugers out of minced beef  you could also cut the cheese in the same way stack them up. the kids love them.

  7. Cheese and Tomato Toasties.

  8. Healthy eating is always important so to try to get them to eat healthyly why not make, whatever your healthy meal may be, look interesting on the plate by arranging it as a face/plane / car etc You can also tell your children how grown up they are for eating the same as mummy / daddy.( you can all have a laugh at the funny faces etc ) Getting the children to help prepare the meal and then dish it out can also be a good idea.

For the food try pasta / meatballs/ baked potatoes/ good quality low fat sausages, fishcakes,(good quality or home made) baked beans (low sugar/salt vareties)All of these items can be made to look good on a plate.
