How about Middlemarch ? Its a hard start but well worth it, a great book.

I really liked Jane Eyre, actually. I thought the plot was amazing, and it stimulated my mind too because of the language. I can't decide if Jane Eyre is my first or second favorite book. I'm deciding between that and Da Vinci Code.

If you like Jane Austen, maybe you'd like Persuasion. I think it's a pretty good book, but not as good as Jane Eyre...

Well it depends. I like the books Modoc and Watership down.

Modocs about the story of a boy and his elephant growing up 2gether, supposibly a true story. I really liked that book.

Watership Down is about a group of rabbits that can talk to each other and one of the rabbits senses danger is comming so they have to try to move out of their warren and start a new one.

The Bonfire of the Vanities by Tom Wolfe is my favorite humorous novel. It is really funny, and it is more than just a funny book. It is a shelfcracker, too.
