I want some (legal) advice, who can help?

The college administration lost my assignment so I receive a fail in this subject and now I need to repeat it (Repeating a subject at my college is not cheap).

I've already lodge an appeal letter but don't have confidence to win...as I have no evidence that can prove I have hand in the work. The only evidence I've got is I signed a late work submission form at administration, the administrator should record it but she doesn't!!!

I just think this is ridiculous! How can a college lost a student assignment!

What do you guys think?

Who is responsible?

If I lose, can I send this case to court? Or where can I go to complain?

(Mine is a private college)

Thanks :)

  1. A lawyer can help.

  2. i realize this is a cheap shot but............

you are not an English major are you?

if English is your second language then I'll have to say you do better then most and on many days better then me.

the work was late, you could be failed even if they had the assignment.

what is the procedure for late work?

why would you turn in a class assignment to the administrator?

    is that the proper procedure?

    shouldn't work/assignments go to the instructor/teacher/professor?

    can you sue?..................... for what?

you complain to your teacher/professor and then to the administration office. not sure what you are going to complain about. if they have an appeal process try that but i would not expect much as far as what you have here they probably did nothing to appeal.

  3. Gotta love bureaucracy.

    Kick em where it hurts.
