I want some plants for my room but have no idea what kind or where to get any?? can someone help me?

oh and i dont want to pay a lot im looking for maybe a palm of some sort or something im not sure and something that doesnt need a lot of sunlight but i do have 3 windows in my room so i dont know

Palm type trees are not cheap. You might want to think smaller. Go to a garden center to get some idea of what type you would like and what will go best with your room. They can help you with plants that will suit  the amount of light coming through your windows. If you have friends that have plants, check and see if they are the kind that you can get a start from. This way it will be free!
