  1. a boat, that's real fun

  2. A brick-oven for pizza!!!!!

A cupboard with glass front to display all your nice dishes.

A house for a little bird.

A ladder to climb up in a tree and read a book.

Or best of all, a treehouse. You can find a design online.

  3. What about a model boat?  Or a model plane?  You can get a kit at a hobby store.  Otherwise, some nice accent tables?  You could sell them too... just a thought.  I am always looking for nice accent tables.  They really make a living room look homey!!!

  4. Add a room to your house.  Or add something awesome to a room in your house.  Like a secret area.

  5. i don't know how useful your power tools will be but building computers is fun and surprisingly easy. plus you'll end up paying waaaaay less for a far superior machine than anything on the market. plus if you don't want it, it's really easy to sell because its so much better than anything Else. if you decided to do this just go to a site like www.alienware.com jot down the specs and go to somewhere like Fry's for all the equipment.

  6. a magazine rack

    a wooden mailbox

    a bunk house!

  7. A very fun thing to do. If you have access to very stiff foam about an 3/4 inch thick, all you need is a lighter, maybe some string, a kife, and some imagination. You can build all sorts of "chibi" style things from tanks, airplanes, cars, and people.

use the lighter to melt (best due this outside or in a well ventilated area) a little bit of the foam and quickly stick it in place. you can also pain them when your done :). I made a C-130 herc for my dads E.O.D shop and he has it hanging from the roof.

  8. a chair or a table

  9. Bird houses that incorporate natural wood with boards are cool and look great, you can make all kinds of variations and sell 'em at flea markets etc. if you want.

Dog houses, small or large, are great if you have plywood around. There are often people who want to buy them also. You can find out ways to make them better than the "usual" snoopy type house, though that's cool too.

If you have wood that hasn't been treated with chemicals, you can make hamster houses. They will likely be eaten though, or at least chewed on. Climbing structures for small animals and hide boxes are good too.

Also whirly-gigs are fun and make people smile. They can be simple or complicated, and can be fun to paint also.

There are also lawn ornaments. Either realistic looking animals, or funny ones. Heck, you can make a whole flock of flamingos! Reindeer or Santa sleighs can be made and painted, and sold too.

What about planters? I'm amazed at what some stores charge for simple ones that don't look that hard to make!

If you are a detail oriented person, doll houses can be a real challenge and you can do a lot besides a plain old house. You can make Superhero lairs, Evil villain hideouts, about anything else your imagination can come up with.

Maybe one of these things will give you an idea you want to follow up on. Good luck to you!
