Visit Mysore and Beluru,haLebidu temples. When you goto beluru and haLebidu make sure u take the help of a temple guide to understand the architecture.

Hi, I will suggest you to go to Hasan, Hampi or Badami.

Hasan is a quiet town to visit Shravanabelagola, Belur and Halebid temples.

In Hampi you can visit Virupaksha Temple, Ugra Narasimha, Vithala Temple, Lotus Mahal, Hazara Rama Temple, Queen's bath.

Badami:The capital of the Early Chalukyas.Badami is famous for its rock cut cave temples as well as the Chalukyan style strucutal temples. In Badami you can visit Archaeological Museum, Jain Temple, Nataraja, Vishnu cave temple,Lake etc.
