I want t to travel to South African, I have listened to I could have problems because I am white. Is it true?

I would like to travel in October or in November in this year. I want to improve my english and this is a cheaper option in my country. I thouth this information an excess but more than one person said to me the same thing then I decide to divide this doubth.

there are many white in South Africa, certainly a lot of black too, but most of them are so nice.  I suggest you to go to the place for tourist, it is more safer.  If you want to improve your English, try my method:

For the writing and listening, you can read some kids' book with CD/tape/DVD and watch more TV programmes, specially kids channels, you will know much more English which you never expected. For the communication, you have to talk more with others, such as ppls in church, elder center, chartity center, those ppls are nice and speak slowly and clearly or maybe you go to work and talk with your coworkers. my unit got deployed to africa for smugglers we had to get.....when they saw us walking in the jungle with our m4's they ran away lol
