  1. You have to have an account on image hosting websites that allows you to upload pictures and get links. You can register on any of these sites but I would recommend you Flickr.

    PHOTOBUCKET-http://photobucket.com/

    When you upload your pictures on these sites, you will get different links for the pictures.

    Copy the Url link(Direct link) of the picture and paste it as link background in 'customize profile' page.
