  1. I'm one of those "surfer boys" and I really want to speak on the behalf of the whole boy surfing community... it's either you want to surf or not... as for the look.

yes to the skin thing... no to the light blue make-up sure whatever color lips you want... clothes as for going out to places wear hurley and volcom clothes, good clothes right there and maybe use riptidesurfwear.com for some cool t-shirts.  Basically dress comfrotably and almost like a guy.  but do it in a nice sort of way, comfy clothes nothing fancy and just be friendly.  pretty stereotypical to say there is a surfer girl attitude... there is'nt one, there's just an attitude and that's yours don't be a poser.  It might also help to know some of the surf lingo and stuff like that, ill help you out if you need it.

  2. is this a joke or are you actually trying to get advice on how to be a poser?! Get real kook. be yourself. just cause he's a surfer boy dont mean he wants a surfer girl. This surfer boy married a girl who barely goes in the water.

  3. To start with what ever happened to being yourself, if that dosen't work than it's just not ment. Being a surfer is more than about the look. He willl right off the get go know your going for the pose. Which I can tell you for truths speaking from the surf crowd is not cool. You will end up being the girl that when you walk by the surfers say "dode" to mock your dude phrase. Don't go there.

    I agree with kim-dude

  4. omg i <3 dis question. i'm a cali(fornia) girl who pretty much lives in the water. ppl call me ariel, like the little mermaid. anyway i'm the surfer chick at my school. my friends want to learn to surf so i'm taking them out to pismo to ride some waves. the surfer style is casual, not excatly laid back but really comfortable. some brands to think about: hurley, roxy, billabong, o'neil some of my personal favs! here are some links to sufer like outfits. hope you like them:

  5. haha im not sure i dont surf but if youre looking for some surfer shirts try   www.theryde.com

    have fun with that (:

  6. Your trying to change because of a boy or because you like the style? You should try shopping at pac sun and hollister

    try this shirt:

    these shorts:

    with this jacket over it

  7. To be a highschool surfer girl you can't live in Central Oregon... and surfer girls don't only live in california.

and if you wear lightblue make up I'll pee on your face when you die because it hasn't been 1974 for a while now.

  8. Why don't you just be yourself?

I'm not sure I understand the question.

There is no look for surfers (guys or girls). Some are lawyers and look like business people, others are young groms with bushy hair. Most are just normal people who wear all kinds of clothes and surf.

The surfing lifestyle doesn't come from the clothes you wear or the music you listen to, it comes from a love of the ocean and surfing.

    Good luck.

  9. This isn't the advice you want but this is what I think you should hear:

Don't change yourself to make someone like you.  It wouldn't be you they liked anyway. Besides, a lot of "surfer girls" don't wear make-up, their skin is tan, red or freckly from hours in the sun, their hair is bleached and probably a bit dried out, they have a funny tan line from their wet suit or bathing suit, and they spend most of their day looking forward to the next time they can grab their board and ride the shores.  It is not a look, it is a lifestyle.

  10. Hey girl, I have a few tips for you. First of all, surfer girls don't stress about how they look, don't obsess over it. They don't totally let themselves go though.

Be simple- use very light makup and go with the natural look. It's not like you can't accesorize but don't over do it.

What to wear and how to wear it- go for cute light jackets to wear to the beach over your bathing suit. Don't wear anything too heavy (nor too light). Shorts, bermuda shorts, short sleeve tops, or very light long sleeve tops. Go for brands like billabong, roxy, o'neill, ect.. Most importantly, be comphy. Beauty is not pain in my book. Wear your hair down sometimes, it's ok to have it a little messy- it'll look like you just came from the beach! :)

Mentally- Don't care about what other people think to much- do- but not too much. Be relaxed, calm, love the ocean.

What to say- I personally think the word "dude" is corny but you can say it if you like. Here's an example of surf talk- "Kristy caught a sweet wave and this sponger came out of no where,  he saw her and turned and totally got raked! It was awesome. Can you pass the guacamole?"

Hope I helped, oh and more importantly, be yourself. Don't become something your not just for some guy. Peace+Love- Liv

  11. You either are a surfer girl or you are not!! it's not something you can try to be without actually surfing! (Poser)

  12. Try just being yourself and not some sort of "image". The "surfing community" has more than it's share of dizzy chicks who are used , abused , and discarded ; and  left disillusioned with the apparent glamour . If you're into surfing do it , but for the right reasons .

  13. uhh dont do that your a girl try being glamorous and s**y thats what surfer guys like

  14. im pretty much a surfer girl in the summer im at the beach from sun rise to sunset so surfing is kinda a style and the way you live. but when im not surfing i usually wear jean skinny light wash dark wash ripped w.e i dont usually wear all brand like roxy if i do its just a solid color  at school everyone calls me a hippie bc i the way i dress and i su rf nonstop (not even in winter)  my fav type of clothes by far has to  be billabong they have the natural earthy tone colors and cool patterns. alot of surfer girls have long bloonde hair myself also. just look on billabong .com and roxy.com he have outfits and you can see some. good luck im always happy to help out a fellow surfergirl!

  15. First off, long blonde hair parted in the middle or on the side.. Peroxide if it isn't blonde.  Pink frosty lips. Hawaiian fabric shorts or down to the knee.  String bikini

nice tan, surf racks on your ride.

tshirts, hoodies, flip flop sandals and not too much makeup.

  16. start surfin, that is the only way listen to surfer guy, i agree wit him

  17. sure...surfing has a "style" but surfing is a lifestyle.  if you want to be a surfer girl, get yourself a good wetsuit, a board, and get to the beach whenver possible.  start surfing and you will transform into a surfer girl.

otherwise you will just be posing and that will be transparent.

  18. So you want us to give you advice on being a poseur?  You are either a surfer or you are not.  It is a lifestyle not a style.  Wearing Hurley does not make you a surfer, and wearing "surfer" clothes from somewhere like Abercrombie or god forbid Hollister is a crock.  Those companies have absolutely nothing to do with the surf industry, they are just capitalizing on "the look."

He's either gonna like you for who you are or he isn't.

  19. For starters why don't you actually try learn to surf... instead of being a poser... because no one likes a poser...
