I want the gamo cfx but i dnt no what .cal to get .22 .117?

if the .22 is bigger is it stronger than the .117 because it goes slower but the .117 is smaller so is it weaker because it smaller but it goes faster i want to no whats better i want the 1 with more accuracy and power so plz reply and let me no what .cal i should get

  1. I would opt for the .177 caliber. Higher velocity and better accuracy.


  2. Using the same power plant .22 will always have more power than .177.  But will have a more pronounced parabolic trajectory.

    About accuracy, there is no way to attach accuracy to one caliber more than other at a given distance.  At different distances .177 with a usually flatter trajectory is easier to estimate.  But comparing against a given distance the accuracy is a matter of using the right pellet for the rifle having a good crown and rifling in the barrel, using the right shooting technique, etc.  

    I use .22 more because bigger pellets are easier to handle for me, but just use whatever makes you happy.

    And no matter what you choose, find different pellets of that same caliber to compare and use the ones that give you the best accuracy, sub millimeter differences in pellet sizes can make a big difference in what pellets your file will like best.
