Sorry that question seems to make very little sense.  The importance of any language would be to convey thoughts, ideas and concepts concisely and effciently.

In terms of Gujarati I'm really not sure, it may have something to do with Indian Class systems?!?!

Gujarat is mostly spoken in India in a state called Gujarat, there are a lot of other Gujaratis outside India in places like America. and etc. I would say the importance of any language is that it presents their culture and unique lifestyle, and also education programs is pretty good everywhere in  India, and also in Gujarat which has the highest industrial success(or something like that) and mostly the Gujarati's in U.S and other place also India have a career in engineering, medical, and other things. As a result of hardwork put in life, Gujaratis have successed and end up working in a reputated profession. One of the great works produced by one of many Gujaratis would be considered from the Mahatma Gandhi. Also, one gujarati many might know in America is Kal Penn, well known as ''Kumar'" from Harold and Kumar go to white castle, watch the second!
