if you WANT to KILL your Xbox might want to get it as hot as you can.

Actually you don't want the red rings, they are a bad sign that something is wrong with your 360, expesically the dreaded ring of death.

obviously he wants them because something else is wrong with it and the red ring warranty lasts for 3 years.

tape up the vents on the back with something that will come off easy and not leave residue (maybe electrical tape) and just let it sit.

just leaving it on won't do it, they are not so bad that there is a time limit before it breaks.
