You'll be ok with the XXL... You don't want your clothes fitting too tightly anyway, looking like it's an extra-smedium! (Yes I meant "smedium"). Extra room is always ok for me, in fact I would prefer it... Looks more masculine to me.

Plus you want to give it some leeway for shrinkage while washing/drying.

It depends on how it was cut and the material it was made from. For example....an XXL t-shirt is usually a size and a half bigger than a XL...but if the shirt is made of cotton, silk, polyester, etc.....it may be half a size to a size larger.

Hi, I see its made of 100% cotton, it always shrinks in the washer a little bit a lot on HOT and  ALOT  in the hot dryer, buy it and wash and dry it and it should shrink down to an XL... GOOD LUCK

Its not that much bigger but you could get the bigger size and have it tailored to fit you.
