I want this tattoo realll bad but my dad hates tattoos ??????

i would really like rhiannas tattoo the starts on the back of my neck but my dad is soooo agenst em. but if i have my hair down he wudnt see it but if we go out and the wind blow my hair he might!!! any suggestions pleaseee xx

I am assuming that you are under age. I say wait a couple of years then get it, if you really love it that much then waiting will just insure that you won't get sick of it on your body.

Agree with your DAD. Obey your Dad. And do a campaign for those musician "hey, you give naughty example with those stupid tattoo to the young".

Depends how old you are.

My parents aren't keen on them but I was 22 when I got my first and so I was old enough to make my own decisions, so they were ok with it.

It's really up to you.  You will know what the consequence will be if you disobey.

Sit them down and talk it through with them, explain why you want it, that you won't regret it, and if you do then you will hold yourself responsible for your actions.

I'm unsure on how old you are but if your under 18 just be careful.

But as i'm a lover of tattoos i'd go for it. Its your body and you should be able to do what ever you like with it and your dad should respect that. If your say in your 20's, its your free will anyways.

TATS., ARE A VERY SPECIAL AND PERSONAL THING,THEY HAVE A DEVOUT FOLLOWING.But,you must look ahead and think what you are going to do in life and whether Tats., would fit in,it,s later in life that the pay off occurs--your choice--you have to live with them.Remember,not everyone wants to deal with a painted tribesman,it is after all,a badge of the past.One more thing,if your hair is down and your Dad cannot see it,then no-one else can,so why bother until you are older and wiser.

and you haven't given a single thought to how that tattoo might affect your career in the future

I firmly believe that if you're under 18, you shouldn't be getting a tattoo

and I firmly believe that if you're mature enough for a tattoo, you would realize that your dad will end up seeing stars on your neck.

so my suggestion, wait until you're 22 and evaluate how that tattoo might affect your career

then, if you still want it, go for it

but I strongly disagree with you getting it now

well technically it dosent matter if he likes it or not.

if you're over 18 do it, if he abandons you over it, thats not right anyways.

I'm going to assume that if you are posting this, you are under 18 and want someone to tell you how to get a tattoo underage.

Unfortunately, no one reputable will even touch you without a parent's consent--if the state you are in even allows THAT anymore.

Wait until you are 18 and make the decision for yourself.

Wait until you're 18.  If you still want it then, then go ahead.  Plus, you'll have a better idea of how it will affect your future (it will, trust me).  Unfortunately visible tattoos aren't always seen in the best light.  And once you're 18, it doesn't matter what your dad thinks, you're an adult.
