I have tried filing the ports and skimming the cylinder head. I considered fitting a turbocharger but I am worried tat the case hardened cheese piston will melt. Is Noxious oxide injection likely to help? It would be no trouble to run a pipe from under the drivers seat and up to the carburettor.

  1. Unless you are planning to drag race the vehicle at a track, you're best bet is to fit a nitrous oxide tank with a hose and face mask.

This will give you the sensation of drving at a higher speed without having to risk engine damage.

  2. I think you're in the wrong section. This area is for questions about environmentally friendly vehicles, and it sounds like you've got something thats about as far away from that as you can get.

Either junk it or put it in a museum. Buy something with decent mileage and modern pollution controls. Does that thing even have seat belts?
