Question:

I want to RELAX! I am just so tired. Help?

I have had some exams, I studied hard and traveled a lot. I go to work almost everyday, I sometimes have problems with my boyfriend and I AM GOING TO EXPLODE !!! Please tell me a way to take a rest at home somehow. I have no money for a holiday. I just want to chill out. Thanks!

  1. buy a candle with your favorite scent ( i would preferably chose lavender ) : )

    take a bubble bath and listen to relaxin music


  2. Sleep late for a couple of days to help you feel more rested.

    If you have a yard, sit outside and read a book that you haven't had time to read.

    Treat yourself by not doing much cooking.

    Spend a day with a favorite friend.

    Spend time away from your boyfriend.

    If you have enough energy, find events that do not cost much money to see.

    I hope you enjoy your time off.  Be good to yourself.

  5. Boy do I know what you're going through. Get some sleep and tomorrow sit down with a cup of tea and listen to your favourite music. Need a recommendation? Try Debussy or Jose Gonzales. Something beautiful and soothing. Do a little bit of work on something you need to do. Just a little - set aside an hour or two but don't force it upon yourself. If it's not going to happen accept it and just spend a day watching crummy TV, listening to music, procrastinating online... everyone needs to do this sometimes. As for the day after, just accept that plans will change, things might go wrong, people will surprise you and, in the middle of the storm, you can only do your best. Have another cup of tea.

  6. like suggested already, take a long, leisurely bath.

    take your music and go for a long walk to some quiet and beautiful place by yourself.

    if you are feeling like you are going to explode, you may want to do some high intensity exercise which will tire you out while you are doing it but it will be an outlet for your emotional anxiety and you'll feel more relaxed after that.

    catch a movie if you can afford that.
