I want to TDS rates for salary? If salary is 180000/- pa, then how much TDS will be deducted?

i know how to deduct tds on contractor or interest but i dnt knw how to deduct it on salary?

see there is not fix rate for TDS on salary it is calculate as per normal rate in the slabs

For AY 2008-09

it will be Rs. 10300Rs.

(if u r male under 65yrs.)

how ever if u invest in 80C around 70000rs there will be no tax

and inform ur company for the same invetments.
