I want to Travel!!?

I'm about to start college in July and I really want to travel, what would be a good major for me??? What would be a good career for me??

If you pursue a major in Hospitality, you can work in hotels, and any major hotel chain will be happy to transfer you to "sister hotels" anywhere in the world.  Then you can live in different countries for a few years each for the rest of your life.  Hospitality can also lead to jobs in tourism, or any number of related jobs.  

I worked as an event manager for many years, which allowed me to travel nearly 200 days a year and see some really incredible places.  There's a website that tells you more about it   www.careers-in-event-planning.com, and click on the page for on-site meeting managers.  

You can also work as a flight attendant, you don't make much money but it's a great job when you're young, like you.  Then the entire world opens up to you.  

If you are business-minded, there are careers for international marketing, international relations, etc.  If you want to do social work for non-profit organizations and see the world by helping people, majors in psychology or anthropology would be a good start.  

You're starting off on the right foot, just by asking around - keep finding mentors or network with people who are willing to give you ideas, and then research it.  Good luck!
