I want to achieve my dream?

Question

My dream is to become a famous or well known actress.

I've been taking drama classes for 2 years.

Theres this one girl there who has been there for seven years.

I don't want to waste 7 years of my life.

What can i do to achieve my dream?

just keep practicing i suppose.

i mean make it so that it isn't wasted then.

make 7 years of your life worth what u have been doing.

It's not going to happen overnight - you must not be impatient. It may well take seven years - if you can't wait that long, then this isn't the buisness for you. You may not ever be famous - there's tons of actors out there! There's lots of work, but it's not all movies - there's lots of stage stuff aswell. Only ever act because you love it, not because you want to be rich or famous.

     It's important that you know what you're getting yourself into. There's lots of rejection, waiting around ... it's not all glamorous. Really long exhausting hours, hard work, working on location far away from home for months.

   There's lots of positive stuff too, though - the sense of community, doing something you love for a living, amazing people and getting to where jeans to work!

  If you truly love acting, go for it! Don't let anyone tell you you can't do it!

  Join an agency. They'll find you tons of auditions. That's the first step...
