I want to act (kind of long) please answer?

i live in connecticut and can get to new york really easily. I really want to act. i do have some experience [5] school plays and some class plays for the parents and one summer camp. i was also on the rachel ray show but you only have to be yourself. i love to act and think I'm pretty good but i don't have an amazing voice. the only community plays we have are parents or summer camps. i want to be an actress really badly and i love it but i want to be more than a commercial actress i don't need to be a huge star but... and don't crush my dreams please.

I suggest going to different companies that need actors, or do a little research on the Internet that really need them.  I have a feeling that some companies really want people to help them.

And if you hear stuff on TV about needing actors, then you should apply for them.  Who knows what will happen right?

But remember, think of school also.  Just in case acting doesn't work out for you.  So at least you can have a backup future for yourself.  But don't let go of your dreams either.
