the speaker box has two 5 1/2 inch mid range speakers in the front and it has a port in the back already made. The speaker box is 18 inches high, 8 inches wide, and 14 inches deep. I was wondering if i cut a hole in the side of the box to fit a 10inch sub would the subwoofer damage the smalller speakers while playing? would i have to seal the smaller speakers from the subwoofer? thanks!

  1. You cannot put midrange speakers in a sub box....the woofer air will blow the midranges..

  2. weird idea but it would work.... sealing the other speakers off would be best ......when it comes to the scientific side of doing this ...it is all wrong BUT,,,,it's yours so do whatever you want.... not to be mean...

bottom line it will work though
