I want to add an additional name to my sir name in my passport.?

The thing is i have already applied for an Australian education visa, so i'm waiting for my visa which should come in a few weeks, my question is should i make changes after my visa comes or before? I thought it would be easier to do so after i get my visa. Please advise.
