  1. Make sure your bats nice and sharp

  2. More cc on your driver (size) gives you more distance. Also when swinging start by rotating your body and your arms following when you swing. And switch your grip to a vardon grip for some reason it gives me more power.

  3. You're standing too close to the ball after you hit it.

  4. The best advice you will get concerning longer drives is to slow your swing down, take it back smoother, and don't try to swing so hard on your down swing and follow through.  When you try to kill the ball it makes you cast the club which kills your distance.  Look up a drill to keep from casting the club, and be sure to slow your swing down.  If you do it right you will get more yardage, I got about 20 yards within about 2 or 3 weeks just because i would not try to kill the ball at the range and it eventually became habit on the course.

  5. the best way to add distance to your drives is to purchase a training club which is a club but a heavy heavy one and you dont actually play with it but swing it in your backyard and this is much better than core exercises because you are only exercising the muscles that you use when swinging and if you do that 20 times a day for two weeks then you drives will improve in distance and accuracy. Also, try coming inside to out so it has a slight draw.

  6. Try setting the ball up more to your left foot in your stance.

Work on your core with exercises.

Set the ball up higher on the tee.

Slow down the back swing and get a good swing speed on the way through.

I switched to a 13 degree driver to get the ball up and out there.

I also use alot more upper body then torgue on my llegs.

  7. KICK THE BALL A FEW TIMES WHEN YOU GET TO IT

  8. buy the hammer. POW!

  9. 1. Let the club do the work. Don't try to get more club head speed by over powering it with your arms. Get the feel of the club doing the work.

    2. Practice every day by swinging your driver in the garage or backyard. 20 times a day every day. It will build the muscle memory for a good swing.
