I want to adopt a battery Hen, how do I do it?

In the UK, a charity has been set up to find homes for chickens that have been kept as battery hens, and are about to be slaughtered. These birds still lay eggs, but just not up to the required standard of the companies. Is there such an organisation in NSW?

Good for you!!!  What a great idea.

Check it out with the RSPCA.  If they don't know, they could probably recommend someone who does.
