I want to advertise my site with a pixel ad. MiPixels.com ?

I want to advertise my website with one of those pixel websites. I found one thats for my state (MIchigan) and i thought it was a good idea. No one has advertised yet because i think the site just started. I was wondering if anyone had any advice?

So what do you expect to get as return on investment on a totally new site with no traffic whatsoever? New sites mean little to no traffic. They are cheap, but what can they really deliver to you? How can you expect to get any qualified traffic from them when they themselves has no traffic?

Plus pixel advertising is more or less a novelty. Alex Tiu's milliondollarhomepage.com was successful more because of his savviness in dealing with the media and getting his story out there. Pixel advertising has not yet catch on.

The questions you need to ask when spending on advertising:

- What will be the return on my investment?

- Is this website a place where my target audience gathers?

Otherwise, just keep your money and find better alternatives

That is an EXCELLENT idea!

Just that you may want to do that nationally!

Go to a place like Commission Junction and let sites promote you for a percentage of the sale.

Also; buy sponsor links on Google and Yahoo.
