Well some rules have changed but the things I am telling you are true,

Remember when going to fill the form bring all educational certificates and 11 photographs (latest) & Your date of birth, present address and other personal birth details.

gop to your regional passport office,with 10 photographs,your ress proof,all your educational certificates(all documents should be in 2 sets of xerox) fill up the form pay rs 1000/take reciept,and after 20 days you can check your status online.

Apply for  passport you have to fill up prescribe form and you have to attach proof of birth date, proof of address , proof of identity, proof of name change( if any) , police verification is also require for the same.rules is change for delivery period other all most are as same as earlier .

Its very simple. Go to the passport office, buy a form and fill it up and submit it. After 1 months your address verification will be conducted by the officials. And after that you will soon get your passport.
