I want to ask you where is Dublin postoffice?

I’m new within Dublin , I’m supposed to receive a parcel overseas.

the parcel must have arrived here, but delivery notification isn’t in my post box.

And I want to ask you where is Dublin postoffice? I want to go there and get mine.

The quickest and easiest way to find it is to ask someone when you're in town.

Alternatively, to avoid speaking to people in town (I don't blame you) - walk towards the spire (which is unfortunately viewable from just about anywhere as it is so tall). The spire is on O'Connell street, as is the Post Office. Have a look out for the post office while you're on your way.

You don't normally get a deliver notification through your letterbox in Ireland. What part of Dublin are you in? Why don't you just ask your neighbours where the nearest post office is?

Parcels are rarely to be collected from the General Post Office (GPO) in the centre of Dublin (by the way its Dublin 1 not Dublin 7). An effort is normally made to deliver them to your address and if you are not available the postman leaves a docket which you then present at your LOCAL sorting office. Sorting offices cover a number of districts e.g. Baldoyle covers Baldoyle, Portmarnock etc. Harmonstown covers that area but also Raheny.  The docket will tell you where the sorting office is.

If you have not received a docket it is highly unlikely that your parcel arrived.  However, if you look in the phone book under An Post it gives a list of all the sorting offices.  Look for the one nearest you and give them a ring.  They will advise you on what to do next.   there is no point in ringing the GPO unless you live in the centre of the city.

that is like asking where London Post office is? Which area of Dublin are you in?

If you were in swords - try Swords office

If in Tallaght - try Tallaght office

If in D4 - well I think you get the message!

try typing Dublin post office into the search box in google maps (I have linked it below for you)... I found them.

The thing is normally mail is left at the depot to be collected so if i were you I would phone the general post office and ask tehm what the procedure is:

Remember if you don't have a ticket you will need photographic ID to collect any parcels you have for collection.

theres hundreds in dublin!!!!!!!!   find out where you are...type in post office in "type where you live here" and stick it in google, or open your eyes and have a look for a an post sign...or ask your postman

Hi, The main Post Office is on O'Connell St. in the centre of Dublin, you cannot miss it it is a beautiful old building, (right next door to Henry St. which is the main shopping area.)

The main post office (the GPO) is  located on O'Connell Street right beside 'The Spire'.

If you look on the pillars outside, you can see little bullet holes from the civil war, there's a useless fact for you!

Phone the Main post Office and tell them you are awaiting a parcel from overseas and it should have arrived by now.Ask if they have any way of tracing its whereabouts.

Depending on where you are living in the city, you need to contact your local delivery office to enquire about your parcel.

You could ask at any post office, or ask your postman or a neighbour where your local delivery office is.
