I want to attend a community college, can I start in wintermester?

I decided to take a year off after high school to work and save up a little cash and now I'm financially ready to go to community college. I missed the deadline for fall registration, and was wondering if it is possible to start in wintermester or is that for current students? Any additional information you could give me would also be greatly appreciated :).

Most community colleges will let you start at the beginning of any term.  "Wintermester" isn't something offered anywhere, so it would depend on the school, but most CCs are glad to have additional students at any time.
