  1. I want to be a fireman. Where do i buy the hats?

  2. A district manager is different for different companies.  In some business' you only have to work your way to the position, while others require a degree.  Depending on the field, or type of company, you would need to get a degree in that specific field or a simple business degree.

Certainly a degree in business management or business administration will get you there, but you could also consider types of business degrees, such as: accounting, marketing, finance or even entrepreneurship.

While choosing a business degree, consider going on to earn your master's (MBA-Master in Business Administration)  This will not only earn you the respect to get to a district management position, but also earn you respect in the business world, making you more flexible in changing companies throughout your career.

When deciding and choosing a major, also consider what area of business you want to pursue, as business is such a broad term.  Whatever you are considering, be certain to not only earn a business degree, but take courses, which emphasize the field you plan to study, such as I.T. or Pharmaceuticals.  Therefore, if you earn your degree, with an specific emphasis, this will make you more valuable as a new hire, than one who has a basic business degree!
