  1. Apply to a college and major in Physical Education (or Kinesiology).  After your degree, you will need to take teaching credential classes.  Remember that it is very hard to find a P.E. job.  I STONGLY suggest that you also pick up a supplimental credential in Biology.  You will be taking a lot of science classes while getting your degree.

  2. To become a P.E teacher, you should find a good college that is based in teaching and then major in B.S.E.  in Physical Education. Once enrolled you will have to pass all your general courses and then pass all your degree requirements. In many cases, you will have to go to some schools and teach the children there to make sure it is something that you want to do. Plus, it is really fun taking all the sports classes, trust me Im a senior studying P.E.

  3. get a physical education degree at college...and pass the states requirements to become a teacher

  4. Well all my P.E. teachers have been overweight smokers. I don't know, maybe that's the key to success...

    I found this site: http://education-portal.com/articles/Phy...

    This excerpt might be helpful:

"To become a physical education teacher you must complete a 4 year degree program and achieve a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training and physical education, or a similar degree. Within a physical education degree program, there may be various concentrations from which to choose, such as exercise science, or health promotion.

You will also need a teaching certificate for the level you want to teach, and the state where the school is located, because most gym teachers are called upon to perform other teaching duties, such as administrative tasks or teaching subjects to students, either as a substitute or as part of their overall job. It's recommended that you gain volunteer experience working with youth in a teaching capacity, not only to boost your resume when searching for work, but also to help you earn a spot in a degree program."
