I want to be a cop and I am almost 13 is there any way I can become a cop?

I have always wanted to be a cop and I am almost 13 and I really want to be a cop how can I become a cop at this age I no it is like impossible but can I even start with training or do something that will help me become a cop when I get older? how old do you have to be to be a cop

I have wanted to be a cop since I was 13. I am currently 19 and employed as a police dispatcher since in my state, along with most, you must be 21 years old to be employed as an armed law enforcement officer. My recommendation to you is to do what I did. When you turn 14, join the law enforcement explorers if there is a post available in your area. It is a program where young people interested in law enforcement can learn about it.

Just get into your local explorer/cadet program with the local police department and there you will get some good training. No, it's not possible for you to carry a weapon or drive a police car until you're 21, but you can go out with officers in your explorer uniform and belt with equipment on it, you get to learn from the officer when you meet and things of that nature. You have to be 21 to be an officer in the united states, however if you join the military, you only have to be 18 to be a military police officer.

Not for at least another 8 years you have to be 21 to be a cop.

you can decide to be anythign you want

but to actually become it, you have to be older
