I really want to be a faery... to live in Nature with Elves and Sprites ...and to do the kind of wonderful magick they do. But I'm only 14 and my parents already won't let me read about real magick... I also tried convincing them to take me to a Faery Convention, but they refused (although that was because it's out of state and with gas prices and airline prices I understand)

How do I make my parents understand what I want?

How do I become a real life faery and live in Nature with real Faeries and do real wonderful Magick?

  2. The real answer is you will need to wait until your next life.  Right now you can't be one of the fae.  You can work with them and that's all.

  3. Ok first of all you need to understand what you are asking..There truly is no such thing as what you are asking...It is lore based on the Druid religion, to follow the druid pracitce would be your next best bet. I come from a long line of Druids and it has taken years of training and learning to understand my place as a child of the old ways. I suggest if you truly love nature to take that route.

  4. Sweetie you can not become a fairy any more than you can become a tree. So very sorry for that. However you can work with them and learn from them. I played and talked to fairies when I was a child. Peace&Love be with you...~M~

There are Christian Religions that practice psychic magic. I suggest that you look into Spiritualism.

  6. you can not become fae you may have been born with some fae blood in you however. as for becomming wiccan just keep learning what youcan read books and talk to others that have experince in it. also keep in mind it is not like what you see in movies or on tv.

  7. Look, if you want advice you need to be ready to hear advice you don't want.  There's plenty of people here who are not going to indulge people's fantasies, both because it is unethical and because its dangerous.

Regardless of my beliefs in fairies, you certainly can't "become" one.  As far as I'm concerned, you asking "How can I become a fairy" should be treated the same as "I want to become a pony."  If you think people can turn into ponies, someone needs to intercede.  Your parents are being responsible parents and are keeping you away from influences that would only encourage this fantasy of yours.

You're 14.  You live under their roof, and you don't always get what you want.  You want to escape their control?  Wait a few years until you become an adult, get a job, move out, and do what you want.  But between your fantastical view of the world and your expectation that you should always get what you want, I have to side with your parents.

One of the cornerstones of magical work is to be able to recognise the difference between reality and fantasy.  it's a terrible pursuit to take up if you can't tell the difference.

  8. [Firetail says] I have no intention of calling you crazy. If I can wish I was a dragon again, you can try to become a faery.

If you just want to be part of nature, simply following Druidism or Wicca would suffice. Or you could just learn from a shaman and transfigure yourself into a wolf or something. But if you want to become a faery, specifically...That is more difficult. I'm not sure who can teach you that. You can study such things online by using Google.

One thing you could try is believing. The mind is a powerful thing. If you believe it exists, then it does. If you believe with all your being that you can do something, you can. But even the smallest sliver of doubt can outweigh all your wishing and hoping. I believe very strongly that I will one day regain my body of old. Slowly, I am changing. You could do the same, I'm sure. This can be done with any creature. Its hard to do, and may take years to get it right or to complete a transformation, but I'm sure it can be done. Find a true shaman, and they may be able to teach you to become an animal. From there, apply the same rituals to becoming a faery. Its all equations and variables that can be modified to get different results, as far as I can tell.

Another thing...Before you try to physically become something, test it mentally. Imagine having the faeries' wings, and flying with them. Make sure you feel the wind, the movement of wing muscles, and the mind of the faery. If you can imagine being the creature, there will be less surprises and fears when you change.

  9. If you are Wiccan, you would know that fairies exist on the astral not the physical and you cannot become one.  You need to ground so that you can sort the real from the spiritual.  Grounding is a very simple basic technique that if you are indeed Wiccan you should know.  If not, here's a basic visualisation to help you ground.  Close your eyes, and visualise yourself as a tree.  Feel the ground beneath your feet.  Feel roots leaving your feet, connecting you to the earth.  Feel the earth energy rise up your roots so that you can taste the earth.  Now feel white light entering through the top of your head and flowing down your body, down the roots back to the earth.  Now feel the roots returning to your feet.

If down properly, you should feel a whole new connection with the earth and you will be able to seperate reality from the spiritual.  Hope this helped.

    Blessed Be

  10. As NIghtwind has already told you, you CAN'T. The best you can hope for is to work with them. Perhaps in a future lifetime Goddess will bless you and allow you to be reborn as one of the Fae but don't think that it's all nice and cozy as a Fae either. They have their OWN set of problems too.

    Brightest Blessings,

    Raji the Green Witch

  11. addd mee ADD ME!! yur awesome!!

  12. No one can just tell you, okay, well go to the waterfall and... etc. etc. I suggest reading up on Wicca since I went through that phase and learned spells from there and all things magical. My friend had this book and we would read bits to each other and do these experiments. That is your best bet, it will have lots of different suggestions for you and places for you to go and ways to do this and that.

    Hope I helped.
