  1. Okay,

    1. Try getting into pro. Theater, It's good that you are doing all of this now, it will help on resume's.

    2. I'm not sure about head shots ( Contact your agent)

    3. GET an agent. ( One who get's paid when you do, they do there job well)

    4. NO school photo's, Glamor shots, and un-pro. photographs.

    5. Be willing to drive state to state

    6. NEVER give up!

Good luck! Hope to see you in hollywood some day!

    xoxo

  2. Hey! I found this guy and he is making a cool film. Actors, Singers, Writers, and Help is needed! I am not believing this. You don't need any experience! I'm so going to audition. If you want more information email me at Superstargrll555@yahoo.com

  3. continue what ur doing like taking classes and stuff try to get involved as much as you can and when you think ur ready get a headshot and write a resume and send it to an agent... tryout for everything and try to be seen as much as you can

  6. Hi, well...I would suggest gathering a good portfolio of your credits, first. Make sure to have a binder with a clean, neat cover page and all of your references and how to contact you. Second of all, make sure things, such as your voicemail (RBT?) are clean, neat, and professional. Nothing like a casting agent calling only to hear "Miss New Booty" on your ringback and then getting some weird voicemail on top of it! lol.

Also, you need to gather your audition folder. In your audition folder (this folder is for you) you need 16 measures of music (take a piece that is somewhat commonly known so the pianest will have an easier time) taped to the inside of a manilla folder, and make sure to have multiple pieces available in case of an emergency or an exception. Gather a binder of monologues you know well and can do your best on in a seperate binder, and keep this at home to reference by (and it wouldn't hurt to stick a few in your audition folder just in case!)

Yes, you do need a head-shot, but make sure that it looks like you would in everyday life, not a super-dolled-up version or a downplayed version. Casting directors are looking for the image the YOU best portray, in real-life, on the camera, and having a good head-shot is good for that.

The next note I have to give you is:

If you are truly talented, you don't need to pay ANYBODY. Build up references (the media community is incredibly tight-knit) and make good connections as you move along. Never burn bridges with anybody. Consider getting involved, in, say, something as small as community theatre. It's truly SUCH a small world and the work you do in community can get as far as LA! If you are truly talented you will have to pay people to do their jobs, but never in lieu of auditions, connections etc...

Keep working hard, but remember, it's best to work smarter, not harder!

Good Luck. Hope I could help. (:

  7. Well you could start out as a model [help with crowds and stuff], and do some plays ect. in your school and stuff. Just work on getting experience and sooner or later you will get recognized and soon be big!! :] Just keep doing what your doing!
