  1. Me too!!!! =]

It would probably be smart to go to college that has a good journalism education and I would definitely get good grades.

I would take like Desktop Publishing which will show you how to create the layout of a magazine! Also Fashion and Design to keep you up to date on trends!!!!!! Also get involved with your yearbook and newspaper so you can practice writing and creating!!!!!!!!!!

    Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s.Can you check out some of my questions and answer them!!!!! thanxs =]

  2. Take a lot of writing courses (not just creative writing) in school, along with journalism classes.  The best bet to get a job as a fashion magazine writer is to intern at one of the magazines you like whilst in University.  Most magazines offer non-paid internships for university students who can gain school credits.

Editorial positions (which is what a fashion editor is) are very hot commodities.  Your best bet, however, outside of school is to get a job at a smaller publishing house and then work upwards.  Rarely do people get hired to top magazines as editors straight out of school - this is where the internships come in handy!

  3. thats exactly what I want to do. Go to UCLA, I heard they have a good journalism program there.

  4. WRITE WRITE WRITE

But here's a question for you? Do you enjoy English and Creative Writing classes? If not, look for another career. Just a thought to keep in mind however, college is 5 years away; you might have your heart set on something different by then. But whatever you choose, remember hard work WILL pay off. Here's to the future!
