  1. GO FOR IT!

    :)

    GO FOR UR DREAM!

  2. No. They check your english language only. So if your good in it its enough. Thought knowing other languages might help you out.

    2. Not exactly. The trainigns not that hard and remember, during you interview always try giving answers which make it seem like passengers are always important. For ex- if they ask you wat is the most important thing? then you need to say, the safety of my passengers....

3.Maybe. You can take up courses seperatly for air hostess which differ from 2weeks to few months.

    @ Alessa

I just apllied for Cpl course n got my admission :). Anyways all the best to u too(m 18 btw).

  3. Well Im a 15 year old girl wanting to actually become a commercial pilot.

1.Probably 2 languages would be helpful, but english always comes first.[I speak English and Russian fluently]

    2.From what I'v seen on T.V. and stuff,yes it's quite difficult.The #1 priority is Safety.

3.Im sure that background will help you get hired.

4.Im not sure it'll make you stand out more than others, but it's a start :]

    Good Luck

  4. 1.DONT HAVE TO BUT WILL HELP!

2.UMM NOT REALLY JUST BE WILLING TO LEARN

3.U HAVE PEOPLE EXPERIENCE SO THAS A GOOD THING

4.UMM NO CUZ PSYCOLOGY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SHOWING PPL HOW TO USE A OXYGEN BAG, AND HAND OUT FOOD

  5. 1: No, not at all.

2: Yes and no.  It's stressful, but not entirely difficult.

3:  Yes. Any job that involves face to face with customers is always helpful

4:  Not at all, and I wouldn't lay into that point very much at all during your interview, or that will be your last interview.   It also might make you overqualified.  Just list it on your resume.  They will see it.

Remember; you and 19,999 other people are going after a very select few slots, so make it seem like you have wanted to be an FA and nothing else since birth, and SMILE, SMILE, SMILE.  By the way, those courses that will "certify" you as a flight attendant are worthless and a complete waste of time and money.  They won't make you look any better than the other Schmo that interviewed right before you, and the airline is gonna train you anyways so why not let them pay for the training, and use your money to buy gas!!

    Good luck

  6. me too!
