  1. I am a hairdresser.  First, just do not attend a school because it   is PAUL MITCHELL.  They will show you there way and that will be the only way...and I bet use only their products. You need, I think, to experiment and use all the different products you can.  First, go and visit a few schools...see where you would feel the most comfortable. See what the teachers are like.. The courses you will take at school are the ones they tell you too.  They have a set course schedule. Take a few students aside from each school you visit and see how they feel.  Hopefully, they will be honest.  If you have not yet graduated from high school yet, I dont think there are any SET courses you really need to take there.  Science is good..anatomy. Do good in math because if you ever plan on owning your own shop it comes in handy!  Go to a school that has many options...not only the hair aspect but maybe the nails and pedicures, and makup, massage....the more you know the more money you will make. Learn to push and sell products!  You make money that way...All the best to you...
