    try this site

  2. Join the Royal Marines Cadets if you are under 18....my brother is in the air cadets and gets so many opportunities to do things such as flying lessons, shooting lessons, all provided by the cadets.

There should be a few squadrons in your area, they usually meet twice a week...he really enjoys it. You sound like you would too.  They're usually really keen for people to join and when people reach 18 they try to persuade them to join the forces so you would fit right in =)

  3. Can't help you but good luck.

I passed up the chance to do this when I was the right age and I have to say that if I have any regrets that is probably one of my few regrets.

At interview don't be negative at all. If you've nothing to say then say nothing.

Because I only have one 'A' level I was told that I would not be an officer but that I should join the Air Corps (I was going to do it in the Army) and after eighteen months I should request flight training. I came back with "What happens if they say no? How quickly can I get out?" they replied, "With that attitude I wouldn't go in in the first place" and that was it. Interview over.

    Be positive.

Look through your local yellow pages for flying schools. Ring the first one you see and ask about helicopters, if they don't do helicopters, I would imagine that they will know who does.

Give them a ring and ask your questions.
