Okay so i want to be a news reporter , but i just want to present the information, is that possible? I don't want to chase people around looking for information about a particular event . I just want to present the information on TV; Is there such thing as a job like that ? Or do newsreporter have to research information?

  1. Good to hear. TV news personalities have become a major embarassment today.

  2. First, you should go to college and get a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication specializing in Broadcasting.  Once you do this, you will realize that all good journalist have to start at the bottom and work their way up.  In order to do that you will have to use the skills you learned in school to research which usually involves being called to the scene of events and reporting.  Once you get years of field experience, you can work your way up to the cush job of an anchor.  I am pretty sure they have to do research as well, but there is little to no leaving the TV station.
