  1. There is flight instruction at Leesburg, Manassas, Stafford, Warrenton, and Culpeper.

You don't have to go to college, but it is a good idea.  Why not?

  2. www.aviationadventures.com .. Tell them woody sent you.

  3. Personally, I prefer a pilot that has had SOME sort of higher education.  College is ALWAYS a good idea.  In this day and age, you almost need a college degree to flip burgers at McDonald's.  Would YOU want to ride on an airplane where the jackleg pilot just happened to luck into a pilot's license, and a job flying passenger planes?!?!!? Or do you think you'd feel a little better with someone who has had some sort of education, giving them some sort of degree of depth, allowing them to be able to make rational decisions in the event an emergency occurs!??!!?

  4. It is not required but essential by most airlines if that is the path you would like to persue, and if so the best one out there at the moment is Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

  5. look in the yellow pages for any small airports in your area.

many of them give flying instructions and lessons on how to fly.

    cost money though

that's where you want to start.   flying school

    college is not required.

i would think your age may be a factor though.

get that book out and start looking.

    good luck to ya.

  6. What kind of a pilot?

Did you look into what it costs?

If you want to fly for the military you'll need college.

If your internet is not working, perhaps you can go to those big thick "yellow pages", go to the section on instruction or education or aviation.

Talk to you're school counselors about career choices.

I am only guessing, but based on the questions you're asking, you must not yet be in HS.
