  1. I think criminal justice would be a desirable degree for the airlines.  They will need people who know how to spot trouble and take action.  Some of the training would really carry over, especially if you keep a good service record.

A major in CJ and a minor in accounting, or the other way around, would be great.  Accountants make great pilots.

So if those appeal to you, do it.  Otherwise, almost any degree you want will be good.  Just be sure and polish it off:  good grades and a good record.

And always make sure, when your shift is over, you go home alive.

    Good luck!

  2. When you join any Law Enforcement Agency and graduate, the department will send you to numerous schools dealing with Law Enforcement, Homeland Security. Plus you will be accredited by City Colleges. Save yourself a lot of money and join Law Enforcement and let them pay for it. Also look for a department that has an aircraft unit. Not all departments have one. Don't waste your time taking Criminal Justice Classes. Numerous people have gone to college and still couldn't pass the police exam. You will definitely need a license to fly a plane. Your question is not that clear.
