  1. Aim to be a good amateur first. you have to anyway and the higher you go in amateur the more money you make when you first go pro anyway, especially if you can make state level or higher.

as to the best clubs to go to. I usually chose the best I could find or the one with the most sparring partners.

At beginner level it makes no difference. They are all great as far as a new guy is concerned. As long as the trainer turns up all the time and no one gets hurt that's all you have to worry about.

Make decisions to swap or change once you know all about boxing.

  2. as long as your dedicated you will strive

  3. you don't just go into boxing so you can become a professional. first you need to train for a few years and then you need to have an amateur career and then maybe after you are very successful fighting as an amateur you could go pro. Don't rely on boxing to get a living. remember that school is important and that you will need it to get a job. Boxing is a wonderful sport but don't expect it to make you rich or even be able to support you. If you do get good enough to go pro it will be important to have other skills to have something you can fall back on when you need them

  4. You can train from your garage if you want to, that doesn't matter, what does is that you get good sparring & for that most fighters travel to other gyms anyhow. But what about your coach? he should know about your proper sparring & training plus you have a long way to go before turning pro so lets try & be a good amateur first. Now 15 years of age & 147 pounds really doesn't mean anything unless you are 5 feet tall & round (HA!) Good Luck.....
