Hello! Im Alicia Johnson, im from cameron wisconsin, its not seen as a rodeo or barrel racing state, but thats what i love BARREL RACING! Right now i show at local shows and at my country fair.. im 15 years old and have been barrel racing sense i was 10 and riding sense i was born. I always go to state and districts for 4-H and place pretty well. I do Gymkanna... I know i hvae a while before i can join pro's or anything.. But i am looking for ways to improve my self for that time? Any kind of tips form gear, exersices, what types of horses, pattern tips, clubs, shows to go to that are in the Wisconisn area. I wanted to get into high school rodeo and i might when i get my lisense casue my parents dont like to drive that far and dont got much money. Also yea i just want tips on becoming a better at the Sport! Right now me and my barrel horse ( A 11 year old black foundation bred quarter mare) have bee doing wonderful an even got Grand Champion at State for barrels! Tips Anyone? Thanks;)
