  2. If you are in a small market try to get in with the radio stations there maybe part-time.. If clear channel own the station in your market just keep your day job it not worth it.

  3. The way I started was I called up a station and asked if I could sit in and just hang-out so I could learn. Within two weeks, I was on-the-air. Call a small station and ask if you can come in and go from there. Put a demo tape together too, you'll need that if you want to go anywhere from there.

  4. You need to go to college and get a Communications degree, or know someone who owns a radio station

  5. Well usually you have to start in either customer service or advertising. Then work your way up. You can also call any radio station and will inform you of what qualifications they & other radio stations are looking for.

  6. Go to the local radio station and tell them you will work for free and do whatever it takes to learn radio. Most local radio stations will take you up on your offer. Also if you are going to college there are some intern opportunities you can look into.
