I want to be a singer but how can I become one?

I'm a pretty good singer and I think maybe I could try an audition. Please help me! best answer 10 points

If you want to get something like an audition, try your school or ask past music professors/teachers. Other than that, if you really want to get your own stuff out there, learn a good accompaniment instrument and write your own stuff, then put it on MySpace Music or garageband.com.

Auditions for the eighth season of American Idol begin Thursday, July 17, at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, CA, and will continue in seven other cities. WHERE:    The Cow Palace

WHEN:    Thursday, July 17

HOW:    Wristbands will be distributed from 7:00 AM on Tuesday, July 15 until 8:00 AM on Thursday, July 17. Auditioners will not be permitted to camp out; therefore, once they obtain their wristbands, they will be asked to return to the Cow Palace on Thursday, July 17.

try going to to power chord acedemy. i MIGHT go this summer. they are all over the U.S. try it. there will be talent scout there.
