how do you go about this? What school do you need? Should I move (I live in NC)

Writing effective comedy skits isn’t as hard as it seems. You don’t have to be Rob Petrie or Neil Simon to put together a piece that will have your audience rolling in the aisles. Here are just a few tips to help you focus on funny.

Whatever you call it, it’s easy to describe; a three to five minute dramatic piece involving two or more characters. I call them sketches because to me you’re sketching in the characters and circumstances, as opposed to a full blown scene, in which you have time to fill in details.

.I suppose you may need to move to Hollywood for training. Search the net for such things.

But remember the best comedian didn't train. Take the greatest ever living comedians Monty Python, they didn't try and become funny. You either have it or you don't
