Well I grew up around guns and shooting guns, I have shot over .50 different calibers, models and makes of guns in my life time. I am practically a gunnery expert.

I shot my first gun when I was 6, a .22 rifle. Now I am 16. I shoot every weekend at the gun range and I hunt big game every autumn.

I am a crack shot, I use a 7mm rifle or a 30-30 rifle and I have the ability to get up into the Elk heard and shoot one from fifteen yards. (I am an expert at concealing myself and my scent, I am also extremely silent. Elk are very sensually in-tune, twice as much as a human) I have also shot 3 other elk from a distance. 475 yards for one, 567 for the second one, and I shot my Elk last year from a thousand yards. (I kid you not)

I have an optional insomnia, meaning I don’t HAVE to sleep but I can sleep perfectly fine if I have to and have no problem adjusting to any time zone.

I also am very strong willed and I have a high physical and mental endurance.

Also the targets at the range are at 250 yards and I hit those every time.

Any advice?

  1. Join the Marines :) My brother's in bootcamp for the same reason as you--he's an obsessive sniper (you should see him on Halo 3) lol.

You sound like a good shot, so talk to a recruiter at the nearest Military Recruiting center.

    Good luck!! God bless :)

  2. Well, if you're not making stuff up, you'll probably have a decent shot.  Just work hard and don't s***w up.

  3. You are suitable with proper training nevertheless do you want to shoot ducks or more. You will be trained to shoot human being and only human being,do  you like it ?

  4. For one thing, it is never a "gun"!  What makes you an expert if you can properly engage your adversaries utilizing your windage and elevation without flaw.  Your adversaries won't be standing out in the open munching on grass and frolicking in the meadow as the elk.  They will be in the most obsure locations.  You've only stood there waiting for them for maybe 10-12 hours at the most (I presume).  A Scout-Sniper will have to be in the bush for days, with food and water.  And your bathroom time?  You don't have any, you'll be required to p**s and c**p your pants.  Living the life in the military, fatigue gets to the best of us.  You'll be required to travel miles, if not, hundreds.  You will walk in an unformidible path, never to travel in a straight line,  If your objective is only 5 miles away, you'll walk 20 just to get there covertly.  It is not physical strength that matters, it is mental.  You will to mentally prepare yourself.  And, if you never learned how to bench load your own ammo, now is the time to understand the fundamentals of ballistic theory.

  5. **** marines join army

  6. you will have to be in an MOS that is required for snipers first, 11 series or 13 series usually does nicely.  second you will have to be in peak physical condition.  next you have to fire expert (40 out of 40) at the range 3 times in a row.  now were not shooting elk here were shooting human sized targets popping up behind a berm at 300 meters away with a 5.56mm round.  think you can handle that?  if you can carry yourself down to your local recruiter and prove it.

  7. Ummmm well.....do you want to be a Army sniper or a Marine sniper.....when you decide I suggest you go talk with a recruiter from either branch
