1. Not a problem. Make a living, depends where you bartend. Obviously you will make more tips in a more expensive ritzy place, or a high packed buzzy place. I don't know about inbetween though. For some bartending tips you may want to check out this link on mixing and measuring.

    Best of luck to you!

  2. Yes you can enjoy and learn by working as a bartender. It's one of the best skilled job in the hotel industry . Try to learn more and more internationally popular cocktails and mock tails and their recipe.

    Well done.

  3. personality is the key man, i was a waiter in a restaurant as part of an international chain of hotels and some of the guys working the bar would make more in tips than wages. so you can make a great living, meet incredible people and travel the world, so long as you have the personality.

  6. so you want to be a bartender hey? well...the industry is mainly ruled by men...so it may be a little difficult to find a job as far as the compedativeness goes, but you have to start some where! And yes you can make a living out of being a bartender...but you will get paid more the more successful and experienced you are.

    hope this helps!

  7. Hey B, it all depends on where you live. I live in Detroit. Born and raised here I was asked to start tending bar. A clutch situation if you will. I knew how to bar tend just from going to parties. I will say this! If you want to tend bar in an establishment such as Out Back Steak House or even TGI Friday's, any chain restaurant will want you to work the floor first (server). Again, it depends on where you live. In my experience most places want female bartenders. Don't get me wrong though. I was able to tend for five+ years. I loved every min. of it!

    Good luck!!!!

When you graduate email me. I will give you a recipe that will blow your customers away. Seriously, I don't give a **** about these points.

  8. Trying to find a bartending job as a male isn't going to be hard.

Men are more knowledgeable with bartending than most women.

You'll get your pay by the hour, but you also get amazing tips from customers.

Especially by women if you are attractive, confident, and flirty.

    Good luck!
