I want to teach eaither 2nd grade our be an music teacher for k-5

Go to a good school and get your bachelors in elementary education. And take the testing for what ever state you are in. I bet if you call your local school district they could tell you what testing you might need. Also get a back ground check done.

What level do you want to teach?

It really depends on where you want to teach.  Texas and Florida are hiring people with only a 4yr degree and no teaching license.  Some schools in Indiana had to lay off 17-35 teachers because of a lack in funding and low enrollment.
